I am very excited to announce that a new short film that I collaborated with Jennifer Keyser on will be featured as part of the EFF Portland film festival as part of their
8:45 - 10:00pm: THE NEAR SIDE (A Local Showcase) on Friday 5/25/12

Things will be different is a short film by Jennifer Keyser and Karl Lind
created for the NW Film Center’s 40th Birthday and inspired by the poem “In the next galaxy” by Ruth Stone
Things will be different.
No one will lose their sight,
their hearing, their gallbladder.
It will be all Catskills with brand
new wrap-around verandas.
The idea of Hitler will not
have vibrated yet.
While back here,
they are still cleaning out
pockets of wrinkled
Nazis hiding in Argentina.
But in the next galaxy,
certain planets will have true
blue skies and drinking water.

I know it is currently front page news but those that have seen my music video for Muscle Beach N’ Friend(s) “Charles Bronson says” (by Karl Lind) have been aware for quite some time now that death by testicular strangulation is actually possible. Esp. if Charles Bronson is nearby.
